Rehabilitation Service for Complex Mental Health Needs
Pine House is a hospital setting, providing a total of 20 placements for patients of adult age 18-65, providing a needs-led service for males with complex mental health needs, admitted on a detained or informal basis.
The Service is divided into 3 separate wards
- Ground floor – Pine ward 4 ensuite bedrooms
- First floor – Lyme ward 8 ensuite bedrooms
- Second floor – Aspen ward 8 ensuite bedrooms
The service has a lift to all floors and has CCTV installed in all communal areas
All bedrooms provide spacious areas for patients to use as they like, each bedroom has an en-suite comprising of toilet, sink and showers facilities.
Each floor comprises of two lounge dining areas and an ADL kitchen for patients to develop their independence, with ongoing staff support or those transitioning towards community placements and are developing their planning, budgeting skills and self-catering skills.
There are two dedicated activity rooms on the ground floor to facilitate additional 1:1 or group activities and an external garden area at the rear.
